Welcome to Parawear MHD
Where fashion and utilitarian design meet.
Para chord has always been an essential in any survival kit.
True para cord is made up of seven strands of seven micro strands (7/7) of
synthetic cord covered in a large nylon sheath. True para cord comes
in military style colors such as black, olive green, tan and camouflage.
Bright colored para cord us usually 5/5 para cord which is not as strong, but is said to be rated close to true para chord for tensile strength.
True para cord has a breaking point (tensile strength)
of 550 pounds. Because of this an eight foot length is perfect for
securing cargo, tying out a pet, lashing a shelter together and tying a prussic knot as well as hundreds of other uses in survival situations.
The idea of having this essential on you when in an emergency situation means that it has to be carried on your person. Eight feet of
7/7 para chord can be unruly and can quickly turn into a mess if left in a pack
for to long. By tying para cord into a bracelet, lanyard, key chain,
belt or bag strap para cord is always available for emergencies and is compact and neat.
Here at Parawear
MHD we believe that being prepared for emergencies is essential. Wearing one of our bracelets adds one more piece of security to your world and at the same time it looks pretty cool. Our bracelets are hand tied and care is given to all of the weaves. Also,
